Pioneer Place is a residential home designed exclusively for the care of individuals afflicted with Alzheimer's disease. It offers a safe and secure environment, promotes independence, maximizes abilities and minimizes limitations.Features of our facility include: private or semi-private rooms with a private bathroom in each room lights that turn on automatically when entering the bathroom and tastefully implemented color schemes using strong contrast. Strong color contrast helps people who suffer from loss of visual acuity to find doorways as well as toilet and bathing fixtures.Our staff is carefully chosen and trained to provide appropriate care for our patients with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. Staff members are taught to intercede appropriately when a resident's behavior or actions are inappropriate. Our care providers are trained in helping our residents in a composed, measured, and caring way.
