Poquoson Primary School

Founded in 1982, Poquoson Primary School enrolls more than 500 students, and is part of the Poquoson City Public Schools. The school offers classes in various subjects, including English, math, science, social studies, health education and language arts. It also offers classes in music, drawing, arts and crafts and physical education. The school organizes field trips, picnics and excursions for students. It also operates a parent-teacher association that takes part in various school events. The school is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Located in Poquoson, Va., the school provides a variety of educational and enrichment programs for students in grades kindergarten through two.
