Galax Middle School

Galax High School offers a variety of educational and cocurricular programs to students in grades eight through 12. The school is affiliated with Galax City Public Schools, and offers a variety of programs, such as English, arts, science, social studies, mathematics and physical education. It is located in Galax, Va., and also provides music, family and consumer sciences, business and technology education, and special and computer education programs. Galax High School additionally offers guidance, counseling, career education, agriculture studies, English as a second language and automotive services technology programs. The school also implements the No Child Left Behind Act. It offers a variety of sports activities, such as baseball and basketball.
