Longwood University

Longwood University, located in Farmville, Va., is a coeducational state institution offering programs leading to bachelor's and master's degrees in a wide variety of subjects. The university s College of Arts and Sciences offers courses in art, biological and environmental sciences, chemistry and physics, communication studies, English and modern languages, and history, political science and philosophy. The college also offers international and liberal studies, homeland security, mathematics and computer science, music, psychology, theater, women s and gender studies, and sociology, anthropology and criminal justice studies. The university s college of business and economics offers courses in accounting, economics, management, and marketing and retailing.
