Douglas Distributing has been supplying the hot beverage needs of office workplaces, convenience stores and restaurants along the Wasatch Front for over 30 years. We have built our reputation on the best quality products and equipment, combined with excellent service. As a Douglas customer, your commercial grade brewing equipment is generally supplied and installed free of charge. Our own in-house service department continues to service and maintain your equipment, no matter what the problem is, for as long as you remain a customer, all for free! We will also set up a delivery system for your business that suits your needs. You may choose to have one of our representative's call on you and determine what you might need or you can simply phone, fax or email your order do us any time. We have no minimums and your order will generally be delivered the same day you call. Douglas Distributing was founded in 1975 by Leo L. Douglas. A native Salt Laker, Leo had moved his young family years earlier to Seattle to work for Royal Corona Coffee Company. Royal Corona was bought out by Continental coffee and Leo was impressed with their wonderful selection of coffees and spices. He longed to be back in Salt Lake, so he moved back and established Commercial Importing Company in 1979, with Continental Coffee as his major line. Leo soon sold his portion of Commercial Importing to start Douglas Distributing. He started Douglas because he saw a unique opportunity to serve the local restaruants, hotels, office breakrooms, and the then emerging convenience store. Since its humble beginnings, Douglas Distributing has built relationships with the finest restaruants, hotel properties, convenience store chains and offices along the Wasatch Front, and in the Intermountain West.
