Wellington High School

The Wellington Independent School District operates elementary, middle and high schools that offer education to more than 500 students in kindergarten through grade 12. The district s schools have a staff of regular classroom teachers, learning specialists and instructional assistants. Its schools offer various activities, including tutorial sessions, field trips and cultural programs. The schools within the district offer educational programs in music, language arts, math, English, science, social studies, physical education, business and creative writing. Its schools organize various athletic activities that include football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, tennis, baseball, cross-country, and track and field. Each district school has a library and media center that provides a variety of print and electronic resources.
