Thorntree Country Club is an 18-hole championship golf course, located in DeSoto, Texas. Thorntree s amenities include: a complete golf shop with PGA staff; men s and women s locker rooms with adjoining card rooms; a 19th hole member grill, dining area and banquet room; six lighted tennis courts and a junior Olympic size swimming pool, children s pool and spa. The golf course is home to the Byron Nelson Qualifiers and the first stage of PGA Tour School. It has also been named one of the toughest courses in the Dallas metroplex by the Dallas Business Journal.
