Coastal Bend Blood Center

Established in 1969, Coastal Bend Blood Center is an independent, nonprofit community service organization that provides unified, centralized and consolidated blood donation services throughout Texas. It offers blood supplies, components and related services to patients and hospitals. The center provides donor recruiting, community education, drawing, processing and distribution services. It offers services to more than 10 medical facilities and serves Aransas, Bee, Brooks, Duval, Jim Wells, Kleberg, Live Oak, Nueces, Refugio and San Patricio counties in Texas. The center is a member of the Texas Hospital Association, South Central Association of Blood Banks and America s Blood Centers. Coastal Bend Blood Center is located in Corpus Christi, Texas.
