County of Brazoria

The Sheriff's Office is governed by Brazoria County in Texas. It is one the oldest law enforcement agencies in Texas. Brazoria County governs the Community Supervision and Corrections Department, which is involved in the protection of community by holding offenders accountable through the enforcement of court-ordered conditions. It features environmental health department that specializes in the protection and enforcement of county, state and federal regulations, as well as prevention of communicable diseases. The county also operates through veteran's service, purchasing, parks, museum, law, human resources, health, emergency management and child support departments. It has engineering department that constructs and maintains roadways and bridges.
