Rickman School

Rickman Elementary School, established in 1927 and located in Rickman, Tenn., is one of the premier public schools in Overton County. Governed by the Overton County School District, it teaches classes from grades kindergarten through eight, and enrolls more than 700 students. Rickman Elementary School s curriculum includes reading, language arts, health and physical education, math, science, music and art, social studies, special education, technology, band, technology education, and behavioral management. Its curriculum and textbooks are aligned to state standards and district guidelines. Rickman Elementary School provides a wide range of services and programs, such as school nurse, lunch and transport services, assistants and support personnel, library and science labs, media center, student council, and parent-teacher organization.
