Dawkins Middle School

R. P. Dawkins Middle School enrolls students in grades six through eight and is located in Moore, S.C. The school s curriculum includes English, mathematics, science and social studies. The school offers a comprehensive educational program for all students. It also has fine arts, business studies and physical education departments. Its counseling services include crisis intervention, peer mediation, conflict resolution and group counseling for developing friendships, anger management and tobacco cessation. Its library offers books and other media items, search stations linked to the Internet and access to computer labs with computers. It has a parent-teacher association that assists in curriculum development and enhancing communication between parents, students and teachers.
