Kershaw County Coroner

Founded in 1791, the Kershaw County Sheriff's Office is a law enforcement agency that works for the protection of residents lives and properties. It maintains patrol and criminal investigation divisions. The office operates a communications center that responds to emergency and nonemergency calls. The Kershaw County Sheriff's Office also maintains civil, training and administration divisions. The office has an emergency response team and gang, tracking and explosive detection units. In addition, it operates warrant and narcotics divisions. The Kershaw County Sheriff's Office is a part of the government of Kershaw County in South Carolina, which governs economic development, engineering, animal control, finance and public works departments.
