Long Middle School

Long Middle School is affiliated with the Chesterfield County School District, a K-12 school district with more than five schools. Located in Cheraw, S.C., it offers classes from grades six through eight. Its curriculum includes English, language arts, mathematics, history, geography, algebra, science, art, music, computer studies and physical education. It has a parent-teacher association that involves parents in various educational activities of the school. It offers various activities, such as art club, boys to men, card club, chess and checkers, creative craft, double dutch, environment club, and drama and poetry clubs, Fellowship of Christian students, science club, and storyteller s workshop. It provides a variety of sports activities, including volleyball, baseball, football, track and field, wrestling, tennis, crosscountry, basketball, soccer and softball. Additionally, the school has a library and cafeteria.
