Children's Friend

Founded in 1834, Children s Friend is one of the nation s leading organizations in child welfare, family support and mental health/youth development services. Based in Pawtucket, R.I., the organization promotes the well being and healthy development of Rhode Island s vulnerable children by providing culturally relevant services which support and strengthen families and communities. It also offers an array of services, such as adoption support and preservation, birth parent counseling, child care, family counseling, professional development and foster care, to name a few.
