Vernonia High School

Vernonia High School, also known as VHS, enrolls more than 200 students in grades 9 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes art, social studies, math and physical education. The school also operates a library and media center, parent-teacher association and student council. Vernonia High School offers extracurricular activities in dance, music and band. In addition, it organizes baseball, golf and softball tournaments. The school provides guidance counseling, food and health services. Vernonia High School also offers various volunteer opportunities. It provides special education programs for gifted and talented students. The school additionally conducts field trips. Vernonia High School is a part of Vernonia School District 47J.
