Pendleton Electric Co

Growing up on the family cattle ranch in Pilot Rock, Corey Anderson always dreamed of operating his own business. In 2007 he did just that when he purchased Pendleton Electric Company, the same business that he began his apprenticeship with in 1995. After receiving his Associates from BMCC in Automotive Technology Corey decided to try something new and entered the electrical field. By 1999 he had worked up to a journeyman electrician after completing 576 classroom hours and over 8000 hours on the job. Corey continued his advancement as a journeyman however he could not be derailed from his goal of ownership. When an on the job injury could have ended his career he used it as another forward motion and in 2000 stepped up as a foreman/estimator Pendleton Electric Co. He then followed that up with an advancement to Project Manager in 2002. Late in the summer of 2005 Corey and his wife, Mindy, welcomed their fourth son into their family, and as his family grew so did his old desire to take the reins of his own company. As 2007 rolled around so did the opportunity for that dream to come true, Corey began the process of purchasing Pendleton Electric from the long time owners, the Hale & Tullis families. By January of 2008, Corey was the sole owner of the long standing Pendleton business. Deeply rooted in Eastern Oregon, Pendleton Electric was founded in 1956 by Bob Hale. Bob operated the business until his death upon which time his children took over ownership. They continued running the business until the transfer of ownership to Corey in 2007. There have been many changes in the electrical contracting business over the last 60 years and P.E. has grown right with them. It is the mission of Pendleton Electric Company to provide dependable, knowledgeable and trustworthy electrical contracting. We are focusing our attention in the geographical area to the commercial and industrial customer while continuing to provide our high level of residential service. We will continue to set the standard of excellence while raising the bar of quality through our company employee's work ethic, team work, communication and accountability.
