SERP Enterprises provides services for those experiencing developmental disabilities. SERP's services include vocational services, recreation and leisure activities, respite, alternatives to employment, work services, one-on-one services and alternative schooling. The company s mission is to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their efforts to become better integrated into their communities. It does this by increasing their independence through employment and community access opportunities, which promotes integration and financial self-sufficiency. These services are delivered in a manner which promotes the general welfare of people with developmental disabilities without regard to race, creed, sexual orientation or disability. Its employment programs include the Supported Employment, Clubhouse and Works programs. SERP is a licensed special education school. Students are referred from local school districts. SERP School incorporates a variety of learning experiences designed to meet IEP goals. The primary focus is to assist each individual in reaching a life of independence. Classes in money management, life skills and employment are offered. Students often travel outside the classroom to gain knowledge and skills in the community.
