Several years ago a lady entered our tax office with a small tax problem. It wasn't small to her though. She was visibly upset over this, and I didn't know who to call or where to turn to get relief for her specific situation. That feeling of helplessness was one I never wanted anyone to experience in our office again. A few months later, I began taking classes in the taxpayer representation niche of the tax business, and I haven't looked back. I acquired the National Tax Practitioner Institute's Fellow designation and attend classes every year that deal with taxpayer representation. I now have the ability to lean on a core group of tax professionals who have many years of experience dealing with the IRS when a client brings me a situation I haven't yet encountered. I have spoken to IRS on behalf of several clients over the years while working for a local CPA firm, and I have helped many resolve their tax issues by either negotiating an affordable payment plan or by having them placed in non-collectible status with IRS. I have a genuine interest in helping taxpayers resolve their IRS tax debt, and I am a zealous advocate for my clients. In addition to taxpayer representation, I also provide individual and small business income tax return preparation for current and prior years. Small business bookkeeping is another area of expertise that I enjoy. Whether it's training a client to use QuickBooks or collecting their data monthly and keeping the books for them, I offer both services. Ever receive a notice from IRS that you are being audited? Don't know where to turn? I have experience handling audits for clients over the years as well. In summary, I love this business! Every aspect of it. I love working with numbers and putting the pieces of the puzzle together for clients. Some of the most satisfying work I do is assist clients who have been unsuccessful in their attempts to resolve their tax problems finally put the issues to rest.
