Lorain County Drug Task Force

Lorain County Jail is a full-service facility that houses more than 400 male and female prisoners. The jail features an on-site laundry, kitchen and library. It offers chaplain, contract commissary, and maintenance and janitorial services. Lorain County Jail also provides medical services. The jail is a part of the Corrections Division, which is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of people in the jail. The division offers fingerprinting services for the public. It handles booking and release operations, as well as visits to inmates. The division provides record checking and inmate supervision services. The Corrections Division is governed by the Lorain County Sheriff's Office.
