Avon Lake High School

Avon Lake High School provides various educational opportunities to the students of Lorain County in Ohio. It offers classes from kindergarten grades nine through 12 and enrolls more than 1,100 students. The school is governed by Avon Lake City School District. It offers a wide range of subjects, including English, math, science, history, social science, visual and performing arts, vocational education, consumer science, physical education and elective options. The school has a parent-teacher association that organizes and supports various school events and programs. Avon Lake High School is a member of the Southwestern Conference of Ohio Athletic Association. It also provides a variety of athletic programs, such as football, tennis, volleyball, golf, ice hockey, basketball, soccer and softball.
