Builders FirstSource is among the United States leading suppliers and manufacturers of structural and related building products for residential new construction. The company operates in more than 10 states and has approximately 65 distribution centers and 50 manufacturing facilities. Its manufacturing facilities include plants that manufacture roof and floor trusses, wall panels, stairs, aluminum and vinyl windows, custom millwork and pre-hung doors. Builders FirstSource also distributes windows, interior and exterior doors, dimensional lumber and lumber sheet goods, millwork and other building products, as well as paint, cabinets, concrete, gypsum, fireplaces and countertops. Established in the 1990s, Builders FirstSource maintains a plant in Hillsborough, N.C.
