Putnam Valley Middle School

Putnam Valley Middle School serves more than 600 students in grades five through eight. The school curriculum includes classes in various subjects, including English, language arts, math, science and social studies. Putnam Valley Middle School offers encores program that includes classes in foreign languages, health, art, computer application, physical education and technology. The school has a music department that provides band, chorus, vocal and instrumental music classes. It also has a library that offers various fictions, nonfictions, newspapers, magazines and Internet access. Putnam Valley Middle School also provides sports activities, such as football, hockey, tennis, basketball, baseball and softball. The school is part of the Putnam Valley Central School District and is located in Putnam Valley, N.Y.
