The Elwood Union Free School District serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The school district includes Elwood-John H. Glenn High School, Elwood Middle School, James H. Boyd Intermediate School and Harley Avenue Primary School. Its schools operate art, mathematics, technology, science, social studies and English departments.
