Sierra Produce

In 1995, we began operating under the Sierra Kiwi Inc banner representing growers from California, Chile and Italy. Our core business is concentrated in Chilean fruit imports ( primarily to the west coast ), Mexican grapes, California pears, and kiwis from around the world 365 days a year. In 2002, Sierra Kiwi Inc changed its name to Sierra Produce, due to the fact that we were representing so much more than just kiwis. As a company, we have experienced consistent steady growth since our inception. We have offices located in New Jersey and California providing fresh produce from around the world to our customers. Sierra Produce is a Marketer/Shipper. We do not provide financial services to our growers such as loans and crop advances. Our strategic alliances are with growers / exporters who are financially independent and do not require funds from their respective marketers to function. Our relationships are direct with the growers. For example, Atacama & Agua Santa ( Chile ) are grower/exporters, not exporter/brokers. All of the fruit that they export is from their own proprietary farms. Atacama & Agua Santa do not recruit other grower's fruit for export. Sierra Produce works exclusive deals with our growers and the labels Sierra Produce represents exclusively include: Greentree ( west coast ) & Penguin ( east coast ) ' Exporter Agua Santa. Cherries, stone fruit, grapes, apples, pears and kiwifruit from the central and southern regions of Chile. 2010 estimated volume at 1.2 million packages. Carolina ' Exporter Atacama. Early season Chilean grapes from the Copiapo Valley of the northern region of Chile. 2010 estimated volume at 900, 000 packages.
