Moonachie Board Of Education

Moonachie Board of Education is the governing body of the Moonachie School District. The board includes various members, such as a president, vice president, business administrator and trustees. Located in Moonachie, N.J., it administers curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities of the school district. The board also organizes flag ceremonies, recreation nights, parent-teacher meetings and board meetings. It additionally sponsors Girl Scout meetings, parent workshops, book fairs and teacher appreciation week. The board also manages the calendar of the school district. The school district offers classes in English, mathematics, reading, writing, science, music, social studies, language arts, and health and physical education.
