A Bit I have always known in my heart that I would own my own business. It was with great happiness in February 2005, that I made my dream, In The Garden come true. I could not have done it without my family and to them I say Thank you, and I Love You. I am so excited to be celebrating our 5th year! Owner, Nancy Thomas Burton has a love for plants and flowers that really shows the minute you walk into the shop and gardens. She has worked in this field for over ten years. Nancy has worked under some of the best local retailers, gardeners and designers before fulfilling her dream of opening her own shop. Nancy attended The New York Botanical Garden School of Professional Horticulture and has an extensive background in annuals, perennials, and interior plant identification and care. She loves to share interesting facts and great tried and true techniques about all aspects of plants and gardening. Nancy has a love for gardening and floral design and is very knowledgeable in both fields. Staff members are garden enthusiasts that are qualified to help in any situation. In The Garden, has opened it doors at a new location 69 Waterwitch Avenue, Highlands. Specializing in unique events and fresh floral designs for all occasions. We offer everything you would need to host a wonderful affair of any size. In 2009 we added the service of personalized papery products, custom favors and gift items Our garden department is dedicated to all aspects of garden design and maintenance.
