Sandown Fire Department

The Sandown Fire Rescue is an all-volunteer department that provides fire protection and emergency services for the town of Sandown, N.H. It maintains a fleet of fire engines, pumpers, tankers, and forestry and utility vehicles. The department provides volunteers with training related to fire management, emergency medical services, hazardous materials mediation, search and rescue and vehicle extrication. It offers burn permits and operates a rabies clinic. It organizes various community events and provides fire prevention and management educational programs. The Sandown Fire Rescue operates two fire stations in Sandown, N.H.
