Ridgeland Police Dept

The Ridgeland Police Department provides police services in order to enhance community safety, protect life and property, and reduce crime and the fear of crime. The department works with the community to improve the safety of the citizens by identifying and resolving public safety concerns. Its criminal investigations division conducts interviews with victims, witnesses and suspects and analyzes available evidence. The division also processes crime scenes and prepares affidavits for arrest and search warrants. The Ridgeland Police Department additionally operates several other divisions, such as administration, animal control, crime prevention, municipal court, patrol, reserves and training.
