Lawton Middle School

Operational since 2004, Lawton Middle School features a gymnasium, fully equipped classrooms and computer laboratories. The school also maintains a media center that houses audiovisual equipment and materials, as well as a variety of fiction, nonfiction and reference books, pamphlets and magazines. It provides programs in mathematics, language arts, science and physical education to students in grades six through eight. The school also maintains ski, art, yearbook and chess clubs. Lawton Middle School participates in spelling and mathematics competitions and Science Olympiad. It additionally offers a range of sports activities, including basketball, football, volleyball, wrestling, track and field, golf and cross-country. The school organizes field trips to various educational and cultural destinations. Located in Lawton, Iowa, Lawton Middle School is a part of the Lawton-Bronson Community School District.
