Arbor Beverage Company was founded in Ann Arbor in 1959 by Theodor and Zinovia Szewczuk as a family owned and operated importer and wholesale distributor of fine wines, champagnes, beer, ales and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic mixers and beverages. From its 32, 000-square-foot warehouse - featuring a temperature controlled cooler for fine wines and cold keg storage - and fleet of seven delivery vehicles, the company serves well over 1, 000 licensed retailers and restaurants across Southeast Michigan, offering an ever-expanding selection of more than 1500 popular and unique brands from around the world. Participation in a 7-member distributor consortium also makes some popular brands available statewide.Since 1990, Stephan and Halyna Szewczuk, son and daughter of the company's founders, have operated Arbor Beverage Company. With more than 60 years of combined company experience, this new generation has successfully merged family tradition with innovative marketing ideas. The result?
