Hedgerow Kennel & Hunt Club Hedgerow Kennel & Hunt Club is located on 110 acres in the hills of north central Massachusetts. We offer professional gun dog training and top quality upland bird hunting. Hedgerow offers a perfect balance to training and hunting your dog. Our Boarding and Training program with professional dog trainer, Pat Perry, provides training for your dog on a daily basis and is probably best suited for owners who simply don't have the time to invest in their dog. It takes approximately 3 months to deliver a basic gun dog. A dog that will hunt with purpose, respond to whistle commands, voice, and hand signals. Pointing dogs will hunt hard be staunch on point. Flushing dogs will work for the gun, retrieve to hand, and cover the the ground intelligently and efficiently. Hedgerow's thoroughness and attention to detail is well worth the investment. Sessions last approximately one hour. One on One sessions are included with a Hedgerow membership at no additional charge. This helps our members get their dogs ready for upland hunting, AKC Hunt Tests, or Spaniel Field Trials. Our Group training sessions allow a small group to work together and assist one another with training exercises that are difficult for one to do alone. Quartering, marking drills and honoring are some of the exercises that are most effective with group sessions. We try to keep our group sessions to 5 or 6 dogs, so that you can achieve your training goals instead of waiting for long intervals to run your dog.
