Loch Raven High School

Established in 1972, Loch Raven High School is a part of Baltimore County Public Schools. The school serves more than 1,200 students in grades 9 through 12. It conducts classes in English, math, science and social studies. It offers vocational courses in business education, family studies and information technology. Loch Raven High School supports a variety of sports activities, such as soccer, volleyball, golf, hockey, football and cross country. The school s range of extracurricular activities includes art, music, dance and drama. It also operates environmental, literary, photography, tennis and painting clubs. It operates a parent-teacher-student association that conducts fundraising activities and special programs, including concerts, musical shows and holiday parties. In addition, the school provides food, transportation, guidance counseling and medical care. Located in Baltimore, Loch Raven High School is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools and the National Association of College Admission Counselors.
