Founded in 1854, the Jewish Community Center of Greater Baltimore serves the Jewish community in Baltimore. It organizes a variety of activities, including health, fitness and wellness classes, performing art programs, holiday events and Jewish gatherings. Its educational division operates a religious school and offers special training classes in citizenship, sewing, Israeli dance, art and craft and sports. It also offers a range of summer camps for students in preschool through high school. It conducts social and recreational programs for children, teenagers and adults with disabilities. The Jewish Community Center of Greater Baltimore operates two facilities in the Baltimore metropolitan area and Camp Milldale in Reisterstown, Md. It offers its facilities on rental for company picnics, family reunions, anniversary celebrations and Mitzvah parties.
