Merriconeag Waldorf School

Founded in 1984, Merriconeag Waldorf School is an educational institution that serves more than 200 students. It conducts classes for intellectual, emotional and spiritual development of children. The school is a member of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America and the Association of Independent Schools in New England. Merriconeag Waldorf School organizes early childhood programs and after-school activities, including cross-country running, skiing, basketball and juggling. Its academic curriculum includes science, math, foreign languages, and fine, practical and language arts. The school features school choir, and art and drama clubs. Merriconeag Waldorf School conducts physical and special education classes. The school is located in Freeport, Maine.
