ZukaBaby is a Natural Parenting Boutique specializing in cloth diapers, babywearing, breastfeeding, natural toys and organic layette. Now serving two locations, one on historic Magazine Street in New Orleans, Louisiana, and in the Vieux Carre Shopping Center on Severn Ave. in Metairie, Lousisiana. ZukaBaby is a family run and family friendly business, founded in 2009 by Erin Reho Pelias when her daughter and inspirationErin, Circe and Michael for the store was 11 months old. The name ZukaBaby is inspired by the German word Zuker which means sugar. ZukaBaby is our way of saying ‘sweet baby’. We are inspired to be not only a retail store, but also a building point for a community that wants more; more local, natural, unique, affordable options for our families. We educate the community about our choices as modern parents in economically and environmentally difficult times.
