Patout M A & Son

M.A.Patout and Son, established in 1825 and also known as Enterprise Factory, is a family-owned and operated sugar mill. It produces blackstrap molasses, cane syrups and sugar. The company operates raw sugar cane subsidiaries in southern Louisiana, including Sterling Sugars and Raceland Raw Sugar Corporation. It is located on more than 44,000 acres of land and has a processing capacity of over 22,000 tons of cane per day. The company operates a machine shop that provides equipment repairing services and reselling and grooving of mill rolls.
