Lexington Fayatte Urban Countyhousing Authority

The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Housing Authority has managed public housing and provided affordable housing opportunities for more than 70 years. The authority manages nearly 1,515 units of public housing, approximately 2,000 Section 8 vouchers and operates a homeownership program. General public housing utilizes units that are owned and managed by the Housing Authority. Properties include Pimlico. Elderly housing include the Ballard-Griffith Towers, which are two high-rise apartment buildings that rent one-bedroom apartments designated for elderly persons. Self-sufficiency level one housing units have the heads of household working at least 20 hours per week. Properties include Appian, the Circle at Bainbridge, Constitution Square, McCullough, Pine Valley and Rogers Manor. Self-sufficiency level two are for people that work nearly 40 hours per week. Properties include Allante Brook, Atiya Place, Camelot, Catera Trace and Heartsbrook. The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Housing Authority is located in Lexington, Ky.
