Founded in 1913, Whayne Supply Company is one of the largest heavy equipment dealerships of Caterpillar products in North America. It offers more than 300 machines, such as trucks, backhoe and industrial loaders, forwarders, harvesters, hydraulic excavators, motor graders, scrapers and skidders. The company has a service department that is equipped with specialized tools to diagnose problems and perform needed repairs. It has a parts warehouse that maintains an inventory of new and used parts, as well as a variety of merchandise, such as jackets, pants, T-shirts, hats, bags, gloves and watches from Caterpillar. The company has a staff of more than 1,000 people. With headquarters in Louisville, Ky., Whayne Supply Company maintains a presence in Ashland, Ky.
