Bluestem Electric Cooperative Inc

Bluestem Electric Cooperative is a nonprofit and member owned electric cooperative in Kansas. In 1999, P R & W Electric Cooperative and C & W Electric Cooperative merged to form Bluestem Electric Cooperative. These cooperatives have been incorporated for more than 60 years by groups of rural citizens. Bluestem Electric provides its members with electric service at reasonable costs. The cooperative has added valuable programs and services for its members so that they can avail the benefits of rural living. The cooperative provides its members the facility of payment of electric bills by bank draft each month. BEC s customer service department assists the customers in procuring forms and information. Bluestem Electric Cooperative also offers lightning and surge suppression equipment only for its members that can either be leased or purchased from the cooperative.
