Washington Elementary

Washington Elementary School was established in 1959 and is located in Atlantic, Iowa. The school has an annual enrollment of more than 450 students from prekindergarten through grade three. It has a library media center that offers a variety of print and electronic sources to assist in the learning process. The school has teachers and paraprofessionals that provide academic classes in special education, language arts, health and physical education, social studies, math, and reading and writing. In addition, the school offers a wide range of athletic and extracurricular activities to students for physical, social and emotional development. Washington Elementary School is operated by the Atlantic Community Schools that comprises elementary, middle and high schools.
