Because our youngest patients love us as much as we love them, Munster Pediatric Dental Specialists has made the addition of a Pediatric Dental Specialist to our practice, Dr. Rachel Dunlop!Dr. Dunlop grew up in Valparaiso, Indiana. She attended Valparaiso High School and later received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Butler University, graduating with honors.Dr. Dunlop graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry with Distinction in 2010. Dr. Dunlop was also elected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Rachel's love of children inspired her to continue her studies at Riley Hospital for Children where she received her Master's Degree in Pediatric Dentistry. During her residency, she was honored with the Ralph E. McDonald Scholar Award for outstanding performance. Dr. Dunlop's pediatric dental training includes treating infants, children, teenagers and patients with medical, physical and mental special needs. Throughout her specialty training, Dr. Dunlop gained widespread experience in pediatric dentistry including exams, cleanings, restorative treatment, oral trauma, emergency dentistry, and dental treatment under sedation.
