Das Dutchman Essenhaus, located in Middlebury, Ind., is one of the largest restaurants in Indiana. It has a seating capacity of more than 1,000 people, and offers family-style dining option. The restaurant s menu includes entrees, chicken, roasted beef, baked steak, mashed potatoes, noodles, breads, salads with dressings, beverages and desserts. It also offers more than 20 varieties of whole pies. The restaurant provides on-site catering service for parties, special events and conferences. Its conference center is spread over an area of more than 4,000-square-feet, and has various facilities, including podiums, wireless Internet access, audiovisual equipment and projection screens. The conference center organizes events, such as family, church and business gatherings, wedding receptions, corporate events, and training seminars. The restaurant has six shops that offer a variety of clothes, accessories, quilts and gift items.
