Founded in 1955, Anchor Brake Shoe serves a range of railroad's equipment, including CP Rail, Canadian National, CSX, Norfolk Southern, Conrail, BNSF, Union Pacific and Mexico roads in North America. The company has a manufacturing plant of more than 64,000 square feet and has produced over 8 million brake shoes. With high-tensile strength steel backing and specially formed composition lining, Anchor Brake Shoe has manufactured a brake shoe with superior adhesion, even in extreme cold weather climates. Its brake shoes are manufactured as per the requirements of the Association of American Railroads M-926.
