Islamic Foundation School

Established in 1974, the Islamic Foundation is one of the largest nonprofit, Islamic organizations that has a capacity for more than 2,000 worshipers in North America. It works to fulfill the religious, educational, social and cultural needs of Muslim community. The foundation serves the residents of the Chicago western suburb area. The Islamic Foundation additionally features a banquet hall that can accommodate up to for 600 individuals. It includes a mosque and a cemetery with a space for over 1,125 gravesites. The foundation also has an Islamic school that serves nearly 1,200 students in kindergarten through grade 12. The Islamic Foundation works with a team of approximately 100 employees.
