Established in 1928, Peoria Disposal Company is a family-owned company that provides a wide range of environmental services to residential, commercial and industrial customers throughout the Midwest. Its services include hazardous and nonhazardous waste collection; garbage disposal; recycling services; waste transportation and brokerage; wastewater treatment; waste equipment rental and sales; environmental engineering; waste consulting and auditing; and laboratory analysis services. The company operates solid waste landfills, a hazardous waste landfill, transfer stations, recycling facilities and a laboratory. It has a tank capacity of more than 400,000 gallons, and its nonhazardous wastewater treatment facility processes up to 100,000 gallons of liquid each day. The company handles a variety of processes, including oily wastewater, restaurant grease, interceptor wastes, machine coolants and liquid waste from metal washing operations. It is located in Peoria, Ill.
