Oak Brook Village Inspections

The Oak Brook Fire Department provides fire prevention and rescue and emergency medical services that help to minimize loss of lives, injuries and property damages due to fires and accidents. It is comprised of more than 40 full- and part-time and paid-on-call firefighters, paramedics, part-time management and public education personnel, fire code inspectors and civilian secretaries. The department operates a communication and dispatch center that coordinates responses to various fire and medical emergency and nonemergency services. The Oak Brook Fire Department additionally employs fire and injury prevention educators, technical rescue experts, fire and rescue training instructors, paramedics, and hazardous materials mitigators. It also supports water, dive, snow and technical rescue teams. The department is located in Oak Brook, Ill.
