National Decorating Service ( National ) is a full service union painting and decorating contractor. Our painters and decorators have served as apprentices, training in all aspects of the painting and decorating industry for years, prior to becoming journeymen. We employ painters from District Council 14 Chicago and District Council 30 Northern Illinois of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades. With a field of 120 +/- painters our customers demands are satisfied. National is family owned and operated, and has been providing value to its clients since 1921. National is proud of our safety record, there are no OSHA citations on our record. Our NCCI experience modification has remained well below the standard of 1.00 for our industry. We use all modern safety equipment and maintain an ever evolving company safety program to promote a safe and productive work environment. Our Superintendent of Painters coordinates labor for customers projects, monitors production, safety, and most importantly customer satisfaction. Our Project Logistics Director coordinates delivery and pickup of materials, equipment and safety needs for our painters and decorators. Presently 3 trucks provide the services needed for our customers. National employs 9 Project Executives who estimate, price, negotiate contracts and dedicate themselves to their customers. All projects are completed as scheduled, our commitment to service separates National from its competitors. The majority of our customers have employed National time and time again based on the value we provide. All National projects are guaranteed for one year from completion, if a customer needs a project redone National will do it. National's project completions are extensive, they are: Wrigley Field, Prudential Plaza, Holy Name Cathedral, the U505 Submarine at The Museum of Science and Industry, Presidential Towers Chicago, Hilton Towers on Michigan Avenue, Empress Casino Joliet, and Northwestern Memorial Hospital to mention a few completions in the past 5 years.
