Murphysboro Middle School

Murphysboro Middle School, named a lead middle school by the Illinois State Board of Education, serves students in grades six through eight. The middle school is a part of Murphysboro CUSD 186, which operates multiple educational facilities. Murphysboro Middle School organizes various field trips, competitions, and music and sports programs. The school s sports programs include basketball, baseball, volleyball, softball and cross country. Its teachers provide classroom instruction and organize enrichment activities.
