Founded in 1988, Meta Tec Inc. specializes in machining of aluminum and iron castings. Based in Lacon, Ill., the firm operates a range of bridge machining centers, horizontal/vertical computer numerical control (CNC) machining centers, CNC turning centers, lathes, drills and grinders. Its currents projects include large off-road equipment frames and large frame attachments that are utilized in the fields of mining and pipelaying.
