We are building relationships, not just making deals. BlueStar Machinery Inc is an Illinois corporation formed in 2001 and based in Johnsburg, IL. Founders are Sean Johnson and Tim Interrante. BlueStar's showroom is equipped with state of the art technology for receiving, servicing, repairing, painting and remarketing used metalworking machinery. Sean Johnson, Partner, BlueStar Machinery Inc, has over 15 years of experience handling all aspects of buying and selling used metalworking machinery. Sean began his career in 1991 at the Chicago office of Yamazen Inc. the World's largest CNC machine tool distributor and the largest Mori Seiki distributor in the United States. Sean's skills in evaluating, buying, and selling used machinery quickly caught management's attention. Sean was tapped to relocate to California and charged with revamping Yamazen's West Coast used machinery program. Sean used this opportunity to turn the West Coast used machinery program into a resounding success. Sean was pursued by Ellison Machinery ( Meritage ), the United States' largest Okuma distributor and joined their team. As the Used Equipment Division Sales Manager, Sean continued to hone his skills and soon was named Vice President of Sales. He continued his success at Ellison Machinery ( Meritage ) until the formation of BlueStar Machinery in 2001.
